Vehicle hoist hire?

i've been think about this for a while, vehicle hoist hire in building,
those of u who cant get access to a hoist and would like to to make that jobs so much easlier, clutchs, gearboxs, shocks, springs, c.v's, even a oil change.
maybe hirage of engine hoists, jacks, stands, air compresser, air tools, too, socket set?
what kind of numbers would be interested in hire a hoist?
what would u be prepared to pay?
hourly?
half day?
day?
overnight?
etc?

Your meaning a mobile car hoist or hiring out a garage?

The mobile hoists wouldnt be much use to people in your average garage as it would probably make dropping and engine / gearbox more difficult (cant get th car high enough + getting over the bars of the hoist)

yea, acc would be an issue but if i gave them a contract with a training maunal with safety where the lift the car up from to read and sign they under stand then that wouldn't be my problem, if they signed dotted line.

More like OSH, with having "untrained" and "unsupervised" non-staff in the building.

sounds like i might have to do some research into osh stuff, but if they have to fill out a basic form saying they understand the booklet of how to use a hoist i should be ok, any1 know of any other area(auckland) with hoist hire?

OSH would not only expect that the person/people could operate the machinery, but adequate safety gear was available (eye protection/ ear protection, safety shoes were worn etc.)

Wouldn't just be a case of " here’s the hoist, this is how it works... bye now."
