anyone watch the new show ride with the devil? pretty good show i thought, NFULFX keeps showing up everywhere, dvd's,tv shows, go for it!!

Yeah i saw it, the whole 'scene' they are representing isn't something i'm into (the party, 'gangsta', baggy clothes etc theme).

Was quite surprised to see the race between the S14 and the Supra, didn't think they'd allow that sort of stuff to be shown on TV. But then the Supra spun and ran over a kid and a mailbox so i suppose they had to do something like that as a 'safety' message.

ok well i guess im the only one that thought it wasnt too bad, i mean it wasnt award winning acting but the cars and the whole idea is a good concept,

On the main, New Zealand TV Shows = CRAP. They will never pull anything off. If they want it to be good they should get the High Octane crew in! Then it might actually be funny - Stupid but funny.

smoking skunk hooter + parties + then jumping into modified cars, drifting, speeding, crashing into a little kid on a suburban street

this is the worst portrale of any one involved in the modified car scene.... how can this be good for any one with a rice ride??????

no wonder any one with a modified car are held in such high regard by the general public , if this is how they have sterotyped the car scene in NZ

this is no fast and furiuos tv show. it is under mining the work the fuzz have done in taking that kind of action off our streets.

2nd grade director , 5th grade acting I hope it doenst last long on TVNZ

I didn't like it either for the record. I just watched because i wanted to see some nice cars (only an EVO, WRX, Supra and S14 in it though?).

Twas disappointing, idiots, gang issues, dangerous driving on suburban streets, dumb hoes... boring, although for many in the 'scene' it's probably accurate enough.

THIS SHOW IS AWFUL

I suppose TVNZ consider it to be "edgy" and "hip" for the "youth culture". But it just portrays possibly the WORST, most seedy part of the NZ car scene that no one here I am sure would be proud to be part of.
Yes the stuff they show is semi-realistic although dramatised. We all know this sort of crap goes on but seriously, they might as well make a sitcom about the mongrel mob and how they give money to ronald mcdonald house and sponsors school after balls :lol:

Hey, don't you dare say that. Moon tv is an nz tv show and its one of the best shows in the world.

On the subject of this tv programme.

I thought it was a well acted show, the actors explored the depth of their characters in a way not see on many tv shows. The Technical content of the show is well researched and gives a good snapshot of the car modifying scene. As a new zealand tv show, it really is a step forward.

It's shit. I accidently flicked over to it the other day and I thought it was gay. lol'd, irl tbh.

Seriously, what were they thinking?
