We all felt it at the wellington meet. Stuff is saying was bigger than Edgecumbe... it was reistered as 6.8 at 40km deep just off the coast of gisborne. Luckily was out to sea just a tad.

yeah we have got it bad here. 3 buildings down a bridge closed and we have a road to town closed.

our house got pretty violent (2 story house) our insurance claim gana be over 1 grand mainly just plates ornaments stuff like that a set of drawers fell over where my brother had being sitting 5 seconds early but the stereo broke its fall :oops: .our hot water cylinder is leaking and our toilets sloshed water out of the bowl lol (thank god i remembered to flush)

I was talking to my folks up north at the time, the felt it quite well (hawkes bay) then about 40 seconds later I felt it here in Chch. Heheheh

it was $&#$% wicked haha was about to rip the loom outta my car then everything started falling over n breaking - fist thing i checked was my car on the stands - mint az, then the beers and sunk a few of those. i'll go another round.

We had one out by Orewa around april/may this year. I did some of the EQC claim assesments. Was a total of about 140 claims and most of them were in south auckland :o Not one was accepted either :P

After the analysis of the quake it was the equivalent of a truck driving past :roll:
