the dark side...

Post by mr2_t »

Hi all,

well 5 months after selling the SW20 and living with a god-awful CVT P11 primera, i've gone and bought a Honda. A Torneo Euro R in black to be specific. Probably not the best place to be saying so but I reckon on a rolling start it would be a match for my old Gen 1 SW, which had ~150wkw

Certainly a lot of car for your money, with some sensible mod's already done in Japan (TEIN adjustables, Kakimoto dual exhaust, K&N pod on a fat pipe) - plus a H22A, factory Recaro/Momo and most importantly, 4 doors and room for carseat as stipulated by her indoors.

Actually much more of a 'boy-racer' car than my SW ever was, but on the whole i'm very happy. Right, back to lurking...

CL1's are a sweet car, wouldn't mind one when I get sick of the Type R.

Yes, seconded - I like Euro-Rs and Snoozn's one is a particularly awesome beasty, for a big car with a (relatively) small NA motor that thing has some wicked legs on it 8O

I'll probably turn to the dark side some time next year. In the form of an S2000...
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.
