MegaMeet 2010

Post by Dell'Orto »

Hey fullas,

This year we're gonna hold MM in Palmy/Manawatu again, and we're gonna need a bit of help to pull it off smoothly.
If people are keen to give a hand, either come have a yarn at the meet, or flick me a PM/txt and we can get stuff moving.

Will need helpers over the weekend and particularly volunteers to flag marshall.

But its just so easy, she really shouldnt have told us about the playing badminton thing!

We ideally need people that can commit to helping organise things outside of the forums as well as marshalling, organising things etc during the weekend, This will mean that it will cost you some of your own time but its for a great cause at the end of the day.

Was guessing as much. Brad, I'm happy to help in some way shape or form. However I'd probably be wanting to attend the track day (on track driving).

I am entertaining the thought of bringing my car down :o

So its Manfield?

Could look into closing a road for a event - anyone here qualfied to do so?
(I think it needs to be done through a proper affiliated club?)

Closing a road would be cool, but would have way way more pitfalls than hiring the track, unless we were just going to have 1/8th mile drags or something.

Closing a road is too much work, and all entrants would need a Clubsport license....

Manfeild is the easiest option.
