Megameet Manawatu progress report

Well, the Toyspeed legend keeps growing!
A great bunch of people here in the Manawatu for megameet.
Fantastic organisation and hosting by the locals - thanks heaps!

Dyno - good turnout! Emz Supra made 460kw atw! The rocket fuel made the exhaust smell like fireworks!

Karting - good clean fun, with Richard and Marku posting very fast times

Paintball - the guy says "so who wants to be in the old guys team"! I can't work out why everyone was looking at me!
Good aggressive fun. A mighty Mexican standoff between Brad and Scott!

Scavenger Hunt - excellent value, great way to get to know Palmy!
Santa ran an unplanned 4wd adventure onto very soft grass! Thanks to the 4agte fxgt for pulling us out!

BBQ sat night at Richard's. Toyspeed does RockStar! Unequaled in the car club history!

Today is minigolf and the cruise!

I used to think that the orange and green tictacs gave you special powers. The orange ones would make you stronger and the green ones would make you faster. So i used to eat some green ones and run around my lounge as fast as i could, then eat the orange ones and try to pick up the sofa. I wish it were true!

Big ups to Richie Poos for the venue for the BBQ. Many laughs were had and great to meet and catch up with peeps, finished up after 5 am.

P.s. Hope Emz isn't in too bad a state today :lol:

Was impressed by the turnout at the dyno. Couldn't stay long but hope you all had a good time :)

Been a awesome weekend. I managed to get people injured in both Karts and paint ball. Had awesome fun running around town on the scavenger hunt with the Wellchurch team. And impressed a few people with my fluke ability at mini golf.
Big ups to Brad, Sam, Richie and the rest for a great time.

Oh and I think loud music and car alarms outside Emz hotel is in call for

Oh Jesus, dont be so cruel. Lol I woke up at 1pm, thort "oh crap, I think I might be still drunk" and flagged the cruise. Hope it went well for all that attended :)

Been having a fantastic time so far, thank you so much Sam and everyone who has been involved in organising this :) absolutely loved the scavenger hunt and meeting lots of you. Def looking forward to getting out on the track tomorrow!!

P.S did the microphone get fixed in the end?? If not can whoever owns it PM me so I can arranged a new one for you :oops:

Sunday... Woken at 5.30am by Sam dropping people off from last nights BBQ (Santa, Emz and ???)
Apparently playing RockBand until about 5am! They sure have the rockstar life style sorted!

11am Mini golf. Good course, lots of people and lots of laughs!

Cruise - good turnout, great roads and ice-cream at Mangaweka
Only a few breakdowns, I'm so glad toyotas are reliable!

A few of us went to look at the windmills up on the ranges east of Palmy
Fantastic experience standing underneath the giant blades whirling above our heads! They were working hard making electricity to power more games of RockBand tonight!
Pretty awesome gravel road to get there too!

Another lot of karting tonight followed up by another Barbie. Cruise was brilliant. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Gotta say, glad I came up... good times so far and looking forward to checking out the trackday and talking more shit. Will be sad to reach the end of this weekend and have to go back to work on Tuesday :( My body probably can't take much more karting tho...feeling suitably fragile now haha
