A241L Jumping out of overdrive

Hey team

I need some help on auto trans in my CE100

When I speed up over 75k's and my car goes into overdrive, then slow down so it comes out and speed up again it will only go into overdrive when accelerating and come out again when cruising. Need to stop and shut down, then flash up again to reset. (normally need to leave it a couple of minutes.

Its a right pain in the arse on long trips, and 50 minutes to work each day

sounds like a bung sensor or possibly a bung o/d button

check your water temp / thermostat... will stay out of overdrive if its not hot enough

Watertemp good and thermostat new.
Just pulled the pan off and looks ok. Doing the filter and new fluid to see if that makes a difference.

Was thinking about sensor but can't find anything to test it on the web
