17 inch chrome prices???

hey just been looking at mags and have been quoted a price of over $3000 for a set of 17" chromes and low profiles. this snds real expensive, they look real cool but is sum1 tryin to rip me off? its from a shop in chch. how much should a set of 17s and tyres cost?? any ideas so i can see if i'm bein ripped! if not i'm gonna buy them prob this week! sweeet

try some good old fashioned shopping around. i know most guys have issues with this concept (me assuming you're a guy) but its gotta be done

That price isnt to over the top, my chrome wheels set me
back $800 per rim plus tyres! Dont expect prices to be like normal mags
there the big crayz at the moment so its best to shop around.

depends wat mags ur lookin for and what brand.
alot of the cheaper brands do rip offs of the likes of enkei and momo etc so shop around.
a mate of mine just bought 18 inch imitation g-zero's and tyres for bout three thousand.

sounds right bud, make sure you pay the extra little bit and get tires with rim protectors, else ur $3000 will be almost worthless with the first kerb you hit

Hey dude, i am an assistant manager at firestone direct Paraparaumu, we usually retail most of our 17" chrome stuff at about 3k, but thats making a fairly good profit, we can usually cut someone a good deal more round the $2500 mark

ring up magandturbo, toptown (hamz), places like that. They always have a deal going on, shop around, dont jump at the first thing you see ither.
i know when i was buying my chromes, toptown outdid mag & turbo in price by like $600+ so just ask for there best price!

Save Ya Pennies, buy some real mags... Chromes are over-rated unless they're deep dish. Or on a merc or the like. They're heavy expensive and ugly.

Sorta things hoodrats in Civics use to try and look rich.

I found the best prices at Elite Wheel Company,
240a Annex Rd, 339 0900

give them a buzz with a brand and model and see what they can do for you. I saved about $600 by simply ringing that number :wink:

the do Advanti and any wheels I know that for sure. Also do wheel and tyre deals
