stop the whinging!

this forum is turning very inhospitable and its starting to $&#$% me off big time.

instead of dissussions, theres arguements. everyone has their own point of view and if you cant accept that then get lost.

for instance instead of saying "thats a good point bob, but i feel that a pod filter does indeed suck air"

peopels here say something rude and/or sarcastic to 'bob' instead.

i know a saying that says, you can say anything to anybody, its only the way you say it, or something along those lines. basically meaning that you can call your boss a fat a-hole if you put it in the right words. so think before you type. theres a person on the other end, so it might pay to remember that if you wont say it to them in person, dont say it here.

theres also another saying that says, even a fool is thought to be wise if he keeps his mouth shut...

yeah shit yeah. And what someone else said about remembering that theres a PERSON on the other end think before u type! There used to b this guy on IRC that picked on me and got in little digs at me and just decided he hated me, i met him irl and he was soooo embarressed, people are completely different on the net and feel they can type stuff they would never say in real life ... real big man hiding behind your computer screen huh.

Remember if you wouldnt say it in real life to this persons face dont say it at all... and just cuz its the net doesnt mean rude or hurtful comments don't actually hurt ....
