The winter Series is a great time for new drivers to come and try drag racing as it is a very low key affair. All newcomers are welcomed no matter what you drive or ride. Street cars just need Rego and WOF and a radiator overflow bottle, drivers just need a civil licence and approved crash helmet, long sleeve shirt and long pants or overalls. DOT approved slicks are ok.

Track Entry - $10.00 per person entering the venue

Racing - Street cars - $45.00 ($10 at gate $35 racing fee)

I'm taking my BC5 out for a fun day.

$45 is such good value for money, and gives people no excuses for saying its too expensive to go racing legally. I would be there without a doubt.

It costs twice that in Wellington, and you will only get 3 runs if you are lucky lol

Yeah we are spoiled when it comes to racing down here. You can easily get a dozen runs on a quiet day, sometimes more.

Was thinking about going but there is an event here at levels the same day that I will probably run.

Looking on the PBDRC site there seems to be a few events,
do they usually run them as the last couple of times I towed the car all the way there
and then waited for an hour for them to decide to cancel it?
