Endurace Series at Teretonga

Post by Lloyd »

Does anyone have any info on tickets or times of racing etc? Seems any racing in the south island never comes with anything more than a date, even club stuff.

Practise Friday from 10 - 4
Endurance Qualifying & Racing on Saturday from 9.30am
One hour race scheduled to start at 11.30am Saturday
Three hour race scheduled to start at 1.30pm Saturday
Other racing (sorry no exactly sure what) but Clubmans, Pro7 etc on Sunday

Sorry not sure on ticket prices but I think $20 for weekend pass, available at the gate.
If you need anymore info just give them a call at Teretonga, they will be happy to help...

with the amount of cars heading through today, it should be a bumper weekend.

won't be quite that far south this weekend, so i hope it all goes well for Chris and the rest of the organising crew

Wow it was an awesome weekend, 42 cars doesnt sound like huge number but when you see them all forming up overflowing the dummy grid was a sight to behold. And with cars from the Ferrari 458 & Aston Martin DBR9 through to Starlets & AE86's etc it was amazing.
Facebookers out there should add "SouthIsland Endurance Series" (note incorrect spelling) as a friend & see live updates on raceday plus pics & vids etc uploaded in the days following... or even better is to check it out LIVE...
Ruapuna on Saturday 5th October
Levels on Saturday 19th October
& Highlands Motorsport Park on Saturday 9th November

good to hear it went well, Chris. did the fog stay away?? had next to know visibility driving south early saturday and it lingered around the coast all weekend, bloody magic in the valleys though
