P Zero Nero opinions
Looking for new tyres for the hoonduh, and have spotted a set of P zero nero in a good size for $250/corner, online reviews seem to be pretty good, just wondering if anyone here has run them? Main question is what are they like on noise and wear? Dont need super sticky rubber, just need something thats okay or better in the dry, and pretty decent in the wet.
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

I had some on a previous car - some of the best tyres I've ever used. I don't really remember what the road noise was like (it didn't matter to me at the time). From memory they were great in both wet and dry. $250 per corner is almost 2/3 of what I paid for mine at the time!

Hey mate, you should find this very helpful

Personally for the money I would consider these as my flatmate fitted a set to his WRX and they seem to be wearing really well and wet/dry grip is great with reasonable road noise

Already got them, and they stuck to the road pretty well on the Paekariki hill road this morning with damp conditions. Seem a bit soft in the sidewall but otherwise good.

Didn't see this thread earlier. My car had these. They're good tyres. I replaced re002's with these and the difference was amazing. My only gripe is they squeal like a cheap tyre with a somewhat aggressive LSD turning slow corners and I'm sure they roll a bit but that could be from running too big a tyre for the rim. I'm dailying on semis for summer but definitely Nero for winter. $250 seems cheap - size?

225/45 r17, factory fit is 215/45 so my speedo is now almost bang on at 100kph. And you are right, they do squeal pretty early on slow corners.

Since that last post i've given them the Mt Messenger test in the dry and the huntly power station to Tuakau in the wet & dark test. The honda is no longer a grossly understeering barge in the wet, and I have to admit I ran out of brave before they ran out of grip in 95% of the wet corners, and when it did let go it was nice and predictable.

Who did you get them off out of interest?
That's a VERY good price!
