Hey does anyone even check this place anymore?
I need the water pump replaced on my Blade Master G, I know these are a pain to do, and I'd do it myself but all my tools and gear is at my parents place in the Wairarapa.
I've already been to Toyota in Upper Hutt (as I needed the airbag replaced for free anyway) and told them there was a slight noise and it sounded like a drive belt tensioner and if they could check it out. They told me it wasn't coming from there, more toward the back of the engine and they'll need another $120 to look further.
I told them to leave it. So popped the bonnet, listened, and still thought it was a drivebelt tensioner, after about 15min I removed the covers, drivebelt and found the water pump bearing was toast and had play in it. Not keen on going back to that dealer.
So looking for workshop recommendations?

Thats a pretty typical hourly rate for a dealer, my local charges $70 an hour from memory.
