Still no codes. Changed map sensor .Same result.I will try changing the distributor and the cap.

I have tried resetting the ecu and the same thing happens.Will try another map sensor today.

I have set it closed and fully opened and the result is the same .....but like I said I'm getting the engine check light and the code I'm seeing is for the TPS...Will try a new one for the blacktop ...

Well guys I have a new problem.....when I try to accelerate the car suddlenly it bogs down for lack of a better term...however when I unplug the TPS the car revs and drives very good except for a little high idle(1500rpm)....I have changed the TPS but I have to get it set...I think it is 1.8ohms -18 ...

Can I use the vac off that end by the frost looking plug...
