Over a month so room for a miricale, may head down to Raglan while Im up there so may catch up with your jzs maddness still. Hows the rest of thr car? Alway on the look out for cheap bits n pieces for mine

whats left is still sitting there. the silver car was mostly complete minus drivers door ...

haha, thought that would sound odd :p the original car was too rusty from a repair in japan, found another shell and swapped everything into it.

interested, yes, alas, severe illness keeps me housebound, so no trips for me...

finally did oil change on the aristo a few weeks back. it was pretty yuck. we did it a bit odd though. to change the oil we unbolted everything off the front of the car to give us more room, and the aircon/fan etc from the passengers foot well. we then removed the engine and sat it on the ground ...

that would be me :) car is close to stock. performance wise just straight through exhaust, new intake, and a jza80 ecu instead of stock one. rather sick atm, but when were you wanting to have a look?

yeah the sequential system has some bad voodoo magic in it. but yeah, front wastegate controls boost, rear is just for controlling flow for the sequential or some bullshit.

when i did the boost controller, the front wastegate actuator is dual port, i tapped into "apparently" the right one for ...

again thats what the supra's for, aristo is just getting bpu's, so the twins stay, unless they die, and even then, i have a spare set to take their place.

trust me if i had the money i'd love to go nuts on it, but yeah, it's supposed to be the tame daily, haha, which i think the twins do a better ...

hey guys, got issues with my 2jzgte jzs147 aristo. for some reason, pulling through the revband, as it changes from single turbo to twin, you'll get a surge of power for a second when the second turbo comes online, then car will lose all boost pressure.

if you feather the throttle to keep boost ...

holy crap blake that is awesome! can you send me some finer details? might be something to look into for my setup at some point. was it mainly a gain in high end power, or did it gain quite a bit in the mid end too? some dyno plots would be great :) mobile numbers still the same :)

had a pair of chinese gsd3's on back of my aristo few years back, 265/something/18, the delaminated at speed after a couple of weeks driving. got replaced with german ones, several years later, still going fine. also had a couple of different location ones on our previa and lucida vans, on mk4 16*8 ...

if it was loud, he may have being an arsehole and trying to get you under excessive noise maybe? other than that, i don't see any reason for the straight cut gearbox to be an issue :?

coryn, hit dad up for filters. have them on the aristo, my supra, will be on dads, think our van has them, have had them on my previous supra, my old corolla, mates ae86, plus numerous other cars, and they work well.
