Toyota produce these manuals. Hard to find online as few have used them. They tell you EVERYTHING on how to do structural repair.

Are there two universal joints in the system? Remember they have to be phased correctly to work as UJ's don't turn at a constant rate when on an angle.

Did you mean that the parallel aluminium pit that sticks out of the front cover is worn? If so the front cover needs replacing, which means that the pump will need disassembly.

Bin it.

Assuming that it is a nippon denso pump they are common as muck. Find a car at pickapart (which is still ...

How many do you need? Find an Alfa at pickapart, they have lots of M10 fine. From memory Alfa 75 doors are held on with M10 fine countersunk screws.

Of course the lockwasher means 90% of those strip the hex meaning they have to be drilled off...

+1 the service most alignment places give is pretty average

My last ST205 alignment came back with the rear toe of the car in red still. I asked why.

"We didn't know the rear was adjustable."

Same place aligned by 2000 BMW using alignment data for a 2005 BMW. That was the next model ...

Conversely just because an engine is powerful it does not mean it is sporty.

99.9% of buyers will keep the original engine in the FT86.

Budget sporty cars are needed for a car maker to make a profit. They are bought by mothers and 20 something's that don't care about fire-breathing grunty ...

20 valve high revving engine in a coupe shell. Compared to what they currently make (FT86 excluded) yes that is sporty.

Cars such as the GT-Four and Supra were $&#$% expensive back in the day (my GT-Four has a list price of $96,000 and the leather was a cost option on top of that!). Having a ...

I'd rather that Toyota hadn't $&#$% up their range, direction and capabilities over the last decade so that they didn't need input from other companies to develop anything half decent...

In terms of sporty cars 1994 had the Levin, MR2 Turbo, ST205 GT-Four and Supra.

2010 had nothing at all ...

Having heard your exhaust I didn't think it was too loud, no louder than my ST205 with HKS system. I think a lot of it comes down to time and place.

Can you take the lid off and post a pic of the circuit boards? Don't $&#$% with anything if you are not tech savvy.

I suspect it is a techtom board but need a pic to confirm.

Have to be a pretty special engine to ship it in. Shipping cost alone on just an engine would be very expensive.

Risk with reducing the invoice price to reduce duty is not being able to claim the full value of your loss when the ship ends up on a reef.
