Re: 4age oil temperature

What oil are you using, as some oils don't absorb the heat like others do.

At the moment I have Penrite Racing10 10W 40 in it. But have not noticed any appreciable change in temperatures with Mobil 1 or Castrol equivalents. Some may hold up better at high temperature than others but does their ...

Re: 4age oil temperature

I've got a mate with a blacktop in his AW11 and he has oil temperatures rising just from spirited driving on the road.
Barry Manon (Bazda/MRP) sells an oil cooler setup with a thermostat to stop the oil getting too cold with slow driving and cold start ups.

Hey Guys,

Well Toda is finally letting us place an order direct from them.

Re: torquing down 16v head

Why is this so complicated. You torque the head bolts down to the OEM recomendation. You cant go more or else you will stretch the bolt.
Doesnt matter what gasket you use.

The only time you can change the torque value is whne using ARP studs. Guys go a little further with the ARP recomendations to ...

Up those ccs its then proven to make up to 270hp. The heads we get CNC ported flow enough to support this power."

Re: Digressive vs linear shocks

Digressive is far better for daily driving. We have our MRP coilovers which are semi digressive but no where near as much as Fortune Autos.
Street driving ride quality is very different.
You can look up their explanations on their shock tech section from the web page.

Re: 2015 Formula One

But remember last year the red bulls took the fight to the Mercs at Malaysia.
The hot weather is not really suited to the Mercs and they go off real fast after a few laps.

I think the next race will be a better indication of where they all stand and I think the Mercs will still have an advantage ...

Re: Help: Mounting racetech seat in AE101 levin

That subframe you got isnt very tall only 20mm ish.
So its not going to change things by a lot.

I modded mine and its still to tall.

Next step I will cut the front support rail so i can lower the seat right down. Its really the only way with these cars if you want to get sitting real low.

Re: Help: Mounting racetech seat in AE101 levin

I have same prob. These cars you cant mount any lower unless you remove the front lower support panel or mod it lower.
Sits too high.

Fortune Auto USA Rally Coilovers

We had alot of request for Rally coilovers over the past few years. We had nothing to offer at affordable pricing.
Until now, Fortune Auto are working on their Rally coilovers which will be available in 2015. I am unsure of which models they are doing but I assume it will be for most cars.
