On my wagon the plate sits on the boot hatch between the tail lights. I want to Pull out the lock & fill in the gap & move the plate onto the kit (When I get it that is).

Does anybody know if you're allowed to take out the passengers air bag?
& is there a certain height a number plate has to be???
I havent checked with a certifier yet as Im slack so Im asking here.

The guy up north had to organize everything coz he was sending to me.
I still got a guy to put the engine onto the back of our truck with a forklift coz I didnt know how heavy it was at the time. I had to pick it up from the Depot.
It was Lower Hutt I think, to Chch.

I got mine old 1 from the north island, it was on a wooden pallet & weighed in a little over 100KG. It wasent that heavy with me + another guy carring it.

4WD would explain his, makes sense.

sorry guys.........We chopped the mounts off the SR so there were no mounts. We then weilded 2 kinda small plates where the previous mounts sat. & then weilded the 3T mounts from the Corona (3T-GEU) on top of the plates. The plates didnt sit any further than where the 4K mounts did, it was only ...

On the 'sticky' telling everybody that theres a link for every Toyota engine out there, says that the 7A-FE is twin cam, but I can only find 1

I dumped a 3T-GEU out of that model Corona into an SR coupe. Then found a 3T-GTEU, & I was told that the engine mount under where the turbo poked out had to be moved somehow to allow the turbo to fit???

Is there any RWD gearbox that will bolt onto a 3sgte???
