this should have been laid to rest, but i just wanted to point out that a major difference between the 1y and the 7750 is that the 7750 has an 'aac' mechanism, wheras the 1y does not. other than that, different facing, not a lot else is different.

theres nothing wrong with nolathane. nolathane is a name, they are a urethane bush as opposed to rubber. neo has solid mounts in his FX and his mini i think... wow, 90,000km. i envy! my 92 ae101 FXGT has just ticked over 406xxxkm on mostly standard running gear. forgive me for calling you pedantic. imo the best thing if u want to do anything is add and upgrade, not replace. think about what you really want from it.

sounds pretty much like what my problem was. i replaced cap rotor leads plugs module coil, god, almost everything... turned out to be the fuel pump. had a blocked pick up... looked like a used teabag. put another pump in, VROOM. worth a look.

my FXGT did that when i was push starting it, i have blown out one of the rear mufflers. might be the same thing. it had been repaired before, and i blew a hole in the side of it. but thats what ya get for having a factory exhaust thats done 404xxxkm. nice carbon build up to ignite.
