Maybe the rules changed from slip on being ok to not ok now?

The landtransport rule is dated 2001 & the cert rule is the same as when I read it in 2006.

Tsoob, if you sell these in your shop you might want to check on this law?

Doesn't matter to me anymore, sold the car to a school girl ...

While I'm having a bit of a bitch about VTNZ there is one other thing they said that pissed me off.

The reason I went there was because my 5mm rear wheel spacers never went on my cert plate when the suspension was certed 2 months ago (plate makers stuff up) Things have been taking a while so I ...

Should be able to be rotated normally, otherwise I'm going to be having an interesting conversation with Firestone

sorry a little off topic..

Rang around for some quotes on some RE001's today.

Tonys tyres told me that "as they are a Asymmetric tread you have to leave them on the rears until you replace all four". I can see what they are getting at but there isn't any reason why you can't rotate these from ...

when cleaning glass, use newspaper instead of paper towels/terry clothes/yourface.

For reals, try it out. Rocks hard.

Cleaning windscreen

Hi Guys,

I'm driving a car at the moment that has a really dirty windscreen and I just can't get it clean, inside and out.

The car had a cut and polish and I think some of this may have got on the windscreen. Its like dash cleaner or something is on the inside.

I've tried cleaning it with ...

Help with AVS S5 programming

Hi

Can anyone help me get a copy of the programable features instructions of a new S5 alarm. They aren't in the owners manual.

I want to know how to change the inbuilt turbo timer settings. The installer has turned it on and I want it off.

Thanks

This still hasn't improved.

One thing I have noticed though. Start the car, all gears ok, can get into everything reasonably easily.

Reverse out of the garage. Very hard to get any forward gears.

It seems like if I reverse when the engine is cold, all other gears are no good. Once I am in ...

Fussy cold gearbox

Hi Guys.

I've got a Ae111 levin bzg with a 5 speed manual.

In winter the gearbox can be shocking at getting into gear when cold.

When the car has sat over night (in garage, worse if outside) or hasn't been used for a day or two, it can be extremely hard at getting into 1st gear after ...

My partner had a similar problem but it was a car that was traded into a dealer.

Traded the car in, filled out the change of ownership papers at the car yard, the dealer then onsold the car to an auctioneer.

Two months later received overdue rego papers.

We spoke to the dealer and he wasnt ...
