I had 1 12" pioneer sub tsw1200c sub in a sealed box i made myself and pulled 132db out of it from a little 200w lightning audio amp, all of which was just sitting in the boot of my silvia with no sound deadening and it pissed all over a couple of really nice tidy expensive ported twin sub systems ...

My bro has put an sc14 charger in his s14 silvia and i think it redlines just on 9k like was said earlier. The rest of the car is pretty stock other than the exhaust/manifold and the f/m ic and it's making 160kw at the wheels. I'll try and get some pics posted. But yeah it goes pretty hard.

It will run them but it wont sound the best, ideally you want to match the rms or have the amp output slightly higher than the rms of the sub, that way when you crank it and the sub needs to go hard the amp isnt struggling to keep up therefore possibly damaging both... if you can find a single ...

ok just read gulls website and it does say 98 on there... Maybe someone should be a guinea pig and see how it goes in a turbo car... maybe try it on a dyno with normal 98 and with this stuff to see if there is any difference....

I had a leak on mine and when we pulled the manifold off we found (luckily) it wasnt warped, it had just sheared of a couple of studs. so nice easy fix, drill out old studs and put new ones in, problem fixed (for now) so might pay to have a closer look....

I had GridIII potenza's on my s14 and then i got gsd3's and tbh i preferred the gridIII's.... Little bit noisier but not as loose in the wet as the gsd3's.... but each to their own... plus i get cheap bridgies :lol:

yeah boost on cal's is funny. I think fivebob figured it out to being poor boost algorithms or something like that and you need a really good (read hks etc) multi stage boost controller i think to fix it. My caldina is completely factory and it peaks at nearly 15 and drops back to 12.5ish or ...

I have removed all of mine, the caldina and gtt badges are just stuck on and the toyota one has 2 pins, i got mine taken off after i got rearended and they had to respray the whole boot anyway, looks mint with no badges at all, now just need to replace the front gt with a nice shiny trd one... :twisted:

i have a similar prob in my car (97 gtt), got it checked and found that the crap nankangs that were on my car had flat spots all round them and one wheel wasn't perfectly found so it wobbles a little... not much to do except replace rims and tyres...
