My first car was an AE92 FXGT.
I worked my ass off at woolworths through highschool for that beast. Only sold it this year as i was in my second year of uni and couldnt justify having it.

Cost me 3 grand.

I am jelly.

But you don't look like a "racer". You look like a 'wanker' or 'poser'

Re: bonnet spacers!?

can some explain how you get them buy? or make? and why you would use them?

Don't you just put a whole lot of washers on the bonnet hinge part.

Why?
To look like a wang. People say it helps let air escape from the engine bay etc.

Or just tell people you did it so the 1UZ would fit in the ...

Mrs just bought an ae110.

We got an inspection through VINZ. Mainly so we get get someone to put it on a hoist and check shit underneath.

Did a pretty thorough job judging by the bit of paper at the end.

Get a copenhagen cone. The store is at the base of the mount. Go to the hot pools. Eat some fish and chips at pilot bay.

Climb the mount, you can go out to the Papamoa hills and walk to the top of them. Some really nice views. Walk lesuire island.

What about rivet it in?

Still fairly permanent though.

I had a nut and bolt holding mine in on my AE92. Never had any issues for WOF's. Even at VTNZ.

I dunno if this is much help. But with 15X6.5 and 205/50 tyres it rubbed a tiny bit under full lock.

how low is your car? mine is just on king springs by the looks. planning to run 195/50

Just on lowering springs and shocks. Wasn't that low at all.

Dizzy seal

Asking on behalf:
Can anyone tell me if they know of somewhere in NZ I can get a shaft seal for an AE82 FXGT distributor? As listed on this page (the second one, not the big o-ring):

m

"Plain encased seal, 10x20x7TC. Part no: TC12379VI from CBC bearings."

Any help appreciated, thanks.
