My suggestion would be to warm it up a few times before you take it out. Give the rings and seals a chance to sit right. You can always give it some light revs on the spot. I wouldn't be driving it had been warmed up a few times so everyhting can be sitting where it needs to before you leave the ...

Yeah does it hit when you drive? Its not such a major I wouldn't think... although some heat shielding or wrap may not be a bad idea to be safe as it could get quite hot and pending what it was touching it could create a pocket of extreme heat.

Hey mate, got a drier that stopped working on us a few months back. Wondering if you'd be able to check her out and tell us what's blown?

My Mobile's 027-632-9966 and based in Petone. Let me know if its something you could look at for us

Do it mate. Its worth while on those jobs as its a reasonable job. As to when you stop, I agree with Adamal, don't.
If you can do it while its out do it. Even if it takes you a week longer it will probably save you 2 down the track when it starts to die.

Be careful with the TradeMe stuff. Go ...

I remember years ago in a magazine (Hot 4s or similar) where they welded up a WRX intercooler and used it as W2A and got very good results from it.

I've been looking at this site:
m
It suggests W2A cores need smaller water passages, so traditional air to air cores don't work as well.

What alternate cars to the corona would have a radiator to suite the 3sfe? Wondering about camry's etc... as to what ones would have radiators which would be a direct replacement.

I think its bloody awesome... nice agressive looking Toyota RWD... Boxer engine is a bit different... not too sure I'm in favour but if it works for Porsche then it must have its benefits...

Heck I may even sell my silvia for one of these... probably not... but when my Silvia becomes track ...

+1 on suspension set-up being top priority. You will find that a lesser powered car will still be faster around the track if its suspension is right. Any joker can accelerate in a straight line, but if they can't take the corner at the speed you can its all made up in a matter of seconds ...

Anyone need any fibreglassing done?

Been doing a little bit of fibreglassing as of late. Not an expert but getting pretty good at bodykit repairs and some custom bits and pieces.

Currently built custom Coil covers, Light replacement air ducts as well as fixing up poorly built body kits.

Open to help people fix up any broken kits ...

Checked your Exhaust oxy sensor isn't fried? I remember mine died on the FX and had similar issues to what you're mentioning. Got to the point when I stopped at lights and things the idle would drop and stall the engine.

Just my 2 cents :)

As an idea, if people are interested in some fibreglass work/builds to be done I may be able to assist. Dabbling in the art at the moment and building myself a replacement headlight duct to ram air to my filter.

Not 100% on the science side of the ducts being talked about but able to investigate ...

For polishing all I will say is AutoSol and a Rag.

I've been trying to get mine on the Silvia all polished up... what a mission!! Found it real hard to get deep enough to get all the dimples out and get down to a smooth surface. Finally getting there but wouldn't do it again!

The biggest ...

Engine Transplant - 94 Corona

Hey guys,

Believe I've blown the head gasket after a radiator failure in the weekend Milky water in the Radiator... yet to check the oil but imagine a similar look.

Wondering about the best replacement engine. Ideally don't want to muck around with ECU and wiring so what I'm wondering is ...
