It's a start. There are an absoulte tonne of lights on this thing, and most on the gullwing, have the wiring ripped out.

Um, something one of our drivers was saying to me the other day when he noticed a light out on the truck we were using was that if the lights are fitted, they have to work, might be something to check up on, potential COF issue?

Could they be for night park lights that a lot of trucks have - just turn on the rearmost red taillight on each side?

Adjustable type Change lever.

Neutral position adjustment

1) Ring levitate up (Do 1)
2) desired position (3 steps) then do (dunno) with the ring), and lock) (do 2)

caution:

Neutral Position adjustment, the car must be stopped, Parking brake must be applied, gear must be in Neutral

Adjusting when car is moving must not do, please.

and those 2 buttons are some kind of light switch.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

Spot on.

1) Lift up the ring (image 1)
2) Select the desired position (3 steps) then release the ring (image 2) and lock in place.

The buttons are for light switches for the width of the truck so should be either a light on the left and right corners of the front fender or lights down the length of the truck down the left and right sides.

It's one of those weird ar*e 6x2's with twin steer. But has a second twin drive bogy in the box for installation at some point in time.

Double steer and single axle at the back. Seen a few of imported tankers are like that.

Bugger, looks like I'll have to trace it with a multimeter..... Tried every combination of switch and lights and the two switches don't appear to do anything. It could be part of the dozen or so wires that's still hanging loose from the bottom of the gull wing!

have you tried these switches at night time if they are clearance lights they may be attached to a lux meter which will mean they come on after dark?


ie: won't waste battery during daylight hours...

But no. I tried it.

The switches have an inbuilt LED, they are only getting power when the key is on.

I'd say they do nothing, probably were for previous chassis whatever sort of body it may have had on it in Japan, Possibly interior lights for a box body or something similar
