i figured it much cheaper to opt for brand name joiners and t bolts clamps in the future.

they werent flexible enough, one split and while i was lapping round manfield.i noticed the boost was low at ~7psi instead of 14psi, did another half lap and then pitted. was too late by then, had overspun the turbo and the bearings were gone.
could hear a pinging noise at idle that turned out to be the compressor clipping the side of the housing and then siezing, and then freeing itself again.
