Where to get Custom crankshaft pulley 4age-harmonic balance

Postby Bazda » Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:42 pm

Im trying to find out where I can get a 4age crankshaft pulley in alloy with a harmonic balancer.
I see there are alot of companies that make them for V8s, but I cant seem to find any japanese ones.

Does anyone know who can custom make these or know where to buy them for a 4age?

thanks

something to do with dampening vibrations i take it

wear ur crank/bearings out faster
could induce a crank somewhere in the crank later on breaking the crank

better to have one rather not to have one :).

my whole assembly is balanced, thats not the point, its the harmonics the engine produces that your trying to dampen.

For a 10s car you have to be using a pulley with a harmonic balancer, its in the rule book :D

i got the front of the stock pulley turned off on my silvertop (p/s a/c) which doesnt touch any of the rubber insulating the rear half of the pulley - worth doing if you dont want p/s or a/c. As well as the pulley ring itself, a good portion of the cast meat came off with it so definitely shaved some weight.
