As above
1)make sure they are the right pads
2)make sure pistons/piston are right back
3)make sure any bolts or sliders aren't fouling
4)make sure the rotor is seated on the hub right, as having it on a slight angle will spread the pads making it harder
As a last resort, ditch any shims on the backing (if you have any), I've found sometimes that some aftermarket pads don't have the clearance for the shims from factory.
