Postby 79rolla » Thu Jul 23, 2009 5:45 pm

OK im putting my 2tgeu (+turbo now) into my ke35

iv already purchased a fuel pump and some new fuel injection rubber hoes, im guessing i am going to need to run a return line as well tho? is there particular piping i need to use? and whats the easiest way to plumb it back into the tank?

sorry I assumed that meant you had bought efi hose,

you should really buy that, as I can't see a certifier saying your engine transplant is ok if you are still using original hose

for the 4age i use the original feeder line as the return line because its small.
the new feeder line for the injected engine needs to be alot bigger, use 3/8 or 10mm bundy tube, bend it up yourself and use the plastic pclips or something similar to attach it to the floor.

depends on the power you want to make. id say in most cases 3/8" would only be used after 500-600hp. plenty of factory efi cars running 5/16" making good power.

run a new supply line from the tank, use the efi hose either rubber all the way or use some steel tube and join it,
i reakon the ke30 fuel line would be sweet as a return,

does it have 2 lines from the tank at the moment or just 1? its been years since i played with a ke30

return hose (after the fuel reg) doesnt need to be efi hose as it doesnt have to withstand the same pressure as the supply, from the fuel rail to the reg it must be efi hose,
