Post by toylet gt »

.o.k. we always here 20 valves being compared to vtec integras and civics last time wildcard said that honda make great n/a engines what about comparing them to two cars with loer displacement but forced induction
who do you think would win if they were all standard?

All standard the DC2 integra would win eventutally. Bigger displacement and good top end power gives it the advantage. The two forced induction cars would have slightly better acceleration though. And it depends whether the SIR your talking about is a top of the line model with the GEN2 B16A or the 1500cc vtec engine. Apparently the GEN2 B16A is supposed to be quicker than the B18C.

how come everyone is saying b18-c yet the ae101 has the most votes i thoughtthat the levin would be the slowest because the supercharger dies out at about 5500 rpm which is where v-tec kicks in.

Why is this post about 20v but have a gtz in the list of options?

Can't say I've been beaten by any Honda's. Only thing that could keep up was a hyped up prelude that could keep up, but I mean come on 2.2 litre.

read what the post says
basically i'm sick of seing 20 valves being compared to v-tecs when really most of us know that although levins r cool cars and look awesome usually the would lose to a v-tec so i wanted to compare them to a couple of toys with forced induction.

what type of car do you have if a mod'd 2.2 v-tec is the only v-tec which can keep up .

I know what you mean about the 20v thing

Just a gtz with the bypass value blocked so I get 10 psi boost. But I may just have one of thoose freak cars that goes fast. My little bro in his gt Startet recons that he can all of the gtz's he's lineded up against, but I can easily beat him.
