Would either be a very late model (or late registered) rt40 corona with the 2r motor in it, or an early rt80 corona, which had 2r,4r,12r,18r's in them. Very cool cars, if the front is like my one its an rt40.

What sorta question is that? look at the link to my site, or check out www.toyotacorona.com

performance is crap. due to its age lucky to get i dunno 2 hp outta it. but i think they are about 70ish standard, butbeg for a conversion, im in the process of 18rgeu transplant, well its all done just got to finish tiding up wiring and trim etc.

i got the 1970 rt80. mean as cars, quite rare. i got a 4age in mine, doesn't handle as well as the smaller toyota's (starlet, corolla etc) the only rust in mine is at the bottom of the front guard behind the wheel, doors and everything seem prettty mint.

Ditto on the rust, The two i have played with are both rusted at the bottem of the gaurds behind the wheel. Other bad spots are around the boot seal on any old toyota, they weather seal/strip has an unprotected metal spring system in the middle of the rubber, and this absolutly eats the lip that the seal clips over.

Other hot spots, include fluid leaks on firewall around master cylinders, battery acid leaks causing corrison around battery. Then usual bottem of doors, around the taillights....

Generaly if you look carefully in good light, you shoudlnt have a problem finding bad bits, which are good price negoitators...
