Adjusting timing with electronic ignition

Hey all, just curious how exaclty you do this on say a 4AGZE.

I dunno if its the same as the 4age so I wont post it up unless someone can confirm??? (too much writing)
But...basiciall you have to put a jumper in the diagnostics plug and then just adjust distributor angle as per.
anyone confirm its the same jumper???

thats what I get for not reading properly!...I thought you just meant electronic points, not distributorless.
I guess its all done by computer??

well on the eng is this thing hanging off the side near the exhaust manifolds. think it's called crank angle sensor.

u have to put a wire between te1 and e1 in the diagnostics box, i think they are to 2 wires. The u get a timing gun and hook it to any of the leads with power and ground, then u read off it down the bottom of your pulleys.
loosen the 12mm bolt that holds the sensor in place, anit-clockwise advances the timing, clockwise retards the timing.

prob u wanna get a mechanic to do it.

Oh well, take away the word distributor and I was there!. I didnt realise the genII on 4agze's were distributorless...cool.
