Postby 7apples » Fri Jun 18, 2004 5:05 pm

ive got a really basic car - ee104 (it the ae101 wagon with a 5efe if you dont know what a 104 is) with no tacho voltmeter, i go a face plate out of a ae101 fxgt, every thing works apart from the tacho. theres no cable in the loom,
where do i hook the ig- to?? is there a sensor???

I once made a digital tacho and you hocked it up to the negative side of the coil. Therefore it counts the number of sparks. Worth a try.
