Oil filter at the same time as oil?(I'm sure you are but just to be safe).
How old your beast? leads should be checked and possibly changed.
Do a search as well :D there's heaps of people on here who at one time or other have had the same questions. I would say search for maintenance but I don't think there are many here who can spell.

May help you. it's got some real basic info (my kind of info  ) about vehicles.

yeah depending on the age, you might want to change the fuel filter too :) could be slowing down with shit in it by now.

Replace engine oil and filter, check and replace if required:

Air filter
Coolant
Brake fluid
Spark plugs
High tension leads
Fuel filter
Gearbox oil

When I first bought my car, I replaced every damn filter and oil, it's good to know where you are.

Cheers,

ya one thing thats often neglected is brake fluid, topping it up is relatively pointless, but completely replacing it is a good idea particularly if you drive the car for long periods of time. you can get a special device which measures the water level in brake fluid (if you're getting the work done by a mechanic they may have one), but if you've had it for more than 12-18 months and never replaced it then its probably a good idea.

last thing you want is vapour lock ;)

Yea, I second that & the fuel filter for often forgoten service areas. For the brake fluid, just replace it if you dont know if its been done. One bottle is usually pleanty to fully change at all.

Check ignition timing.
Replace Cambelt if it hasn't been already.
