you will have an internal ignition coil on your distributor, you are probably, better off finding a wiring diagram - i have one somewhere on my computer and then finding a diagram for the pinouts on the ECU and wiring it from there, or you can follow the diagram and wire it off the distributor, but im not sure which part, as im only used to working with external ignition coils..but either way, you will need a wiring diagram

Follow the high tention lead (the only big black wire one not going into the engine as the other four are doing) from your distributer. It will be conected to the coil. The negaive wire, im not sure on an electrical set up, But it wil be a wire coming from the distibuter to the coil. But dont take my word on that last part.

Edit: Why would there be a high tention lead if the coils is an internal one?? :? - still recken its an external one. What do other people recken??

this is the easiest thing to wire up ever! On ur distributer cap, follow the main wire (the1 that dnt go to a sparkplug) and that will take it to the coil. then find the negaitve on that. shud be a black box type thing.

ok..
is this for an ae92 or ae101 or what ?
if its for one of those, im 90% sure i have a wiring diagram which i can put up for you to print off, then go to your engine bay, find your distributor, get out your lil test light..and probe the wire to death..:D..
if you still get stuck, i suggest taking it to an auto sparky and paying them to do it.

Since I presume you are not super mechanically minded ( no offence intended) the easiest place to find the required tacho feed is in the black plug under the bonnet labeled DIAG or Diagnosis.
Open it up and the pins are labeled. The one you want is larger than the rest and is in the centre labelled IG-.
