st185rc 3sgte in a 93 mr2...

is there any MAJOR modifications neeed to get the 185rc 3sgte in a 93 mr2 turbo chassis? and will the mr2 ECU be used or should i go with the 185rc ECU?

You will need to use a number of parts off a SW20 doner engine. Refer to the info on this page and reverse it:

That info is for the later version of the engine but you may find some of the info still applies.

You will need a MR2 ECU to run your power steering (not sure how people with aftermarket ECU do it?). You could set up a relay to run the RC IC pump.

Why do you want to use an RC engine?

well i have an existing 3sgte out of an 93 mr2 turbo, just blew a ring land. i was also wondering if its possible to squeeze the a2w intercooler in the engine bay. the reason i chose it was b/c it was considerably cheaper (mainly because it was @ a local shop.

Why not just rebuild your engine? Always the oppurtunity to rebuild it with with stronger parts, ie. forged pistons or even st205 pistons.
If you want an RC water/air my friend is selling a complete water-air setup for $700 which is intercooler,radiator,pump etc
