Postby MRV8 » Mon Sep 27, 2004 6:25 pm

Ok, here's another turbo question for you al,

Guy i do work for has a ST185 GT4 as a race/rally car.
Do they have the ct20 /20b/26 etc and what should he have for best power and performance.
It runs link ecu etc so boost cut is no worries.

185's have the CT26...teh CT20B is supposed to be better all round, but finding a steel exhaust wheel one is tricky/expensive

As Mmm, Boost said it will have a ct26

Best for power and reliabilty would be steel shaft ct20b from a WRC or export st205

i wouldnt actually go reccomending a ceramic turbo for rally purposes esp if he was gonna run 1bar + all the time id be too scared it would break, not because of the cost, but because you would be searching for a month before you found another one

Particularly if you're gonna be flash and run anti lag (is it a Link, or Link+?) as anti lag pretty quickly shatters ceramic wheels.
