yeah, you can run two batteries but that'll only give you more time that you can have your sounds going when you've got the engine off... I believe if your sounds are using to much power when your car's running you'll need an uprated altenator

Or buy a battery isolator so you can have 2 batteries and it only uses one while the engine is off. Its basically a giant diode pack a bit smaller than a Sony XM222 amp. I sold one to lowglrolla a while back, not sure if he still has it. I'm sure you can find them somewhere.

A giant diode pack?

Yeah it will work, but it'll have voltage drop and it's old technology.

now you would you use a voltage sensing rely to link the two batteries as it's a much more reliable way of doing it and keeps the battery's in better condition.

Yeah, continuous duty starter solenoid may be the way to go if you want to do it with a big relay (basically) instead. Diode pack is just a simple option to put out there

I dont think it matters anyway,

Back to topic, I was thinking more of one of these.
They are designed for marine use but we fit them to jst about anything that has starting and a slave battery. We use a lot of them on campervans etc. Very good product.

Most Auto elc places should be able to sell you one or I can supply.
Dont know the price off the top of my head.
