battery power question?

my sounds drain 2 much power, is there a way to run 2 batteries in tandum?

yeah, you can run two batteries but that'll only give you more time that you can have your sounds going when you've got the engine off... I believe if your sounds are using to much power when your car's running you'll need an uprated altenator

Or buy a battery isolator so you can have 2 batteries and it only uses one while the engine is off. Its basically a giant diode pack a bit smaller than a Sony XM222 amp. I sold one to lowglrolla a while back, not sure if he still has it. I'm sure you can find them somewhere.

A giant diode pack?
Yeah it will work, but it'll have voltage drop and it's old technology.
now you would you use a voltage sensing rely to link the two batteries as it's a much more reliable way of doing it and keeps the battery's in better condition.

Back to topic, I was thinking more of one of these.
They are designed for marine use but we fit them to jst about anything that has starting and a slave battery. We use a lot of them on campervans etc. Very good product.
