Maybe look into that contact adhesive?

I think you'll have to screw it down dude... you don't want it flying around when you is drifting.

...or if you drill 2 holes on the bonnet just above the throttle bodies there should be a mounting pin just to the left of the throttle body sensor where you can mount the tach so that it is in nice view of you jst in front of the steering wheel.

Then you can just plug it into the G sensor next to your oil cap wich will give you an exact reading right through your whole rpm range

Monster tachos look stupid in a road car. I think it makes you look like a tryhard. Why not talk to your toyota dealer and see if there is something from TRD that will work?

If you like the blue glow, why not replace your dash backlights with blue ones?

well then if you like pretty blue lights jst get a VVT light.

why do you want to put a monster tacho in there anyway?....you expecting any major power gains or do you jst want to 'attempt' to get the needle all the way to the 10/11 Grand side?

this is what i dont get

the only cars that look fine, with tachs are starlets, or dx rollas, or *pick any car without a tach*

i mean, the one that came with the car wont be out, and if it is, it will be out by how much? 50-200rpmISH?

unless ur engine is gonna throw a hissy by you revving 50rpm higher, (which is uncontrable with full throttle in human terms anyway) - well, depends on gear obviously - you shouldnt be spending ur money on a tach :).

hey, dont slap 20vs, some of us dont put big tachs and guages all over the show.

I wasn't calling you a $&#$% idiot, that was directed at all the unhelpful people in the thread.

Two holes will not $&#$% your dash, you will hardly notice...but up to you.

I have a monster tach in my Dx, but thats cause I need to know RPM for tuning carbs and shit...and it doesn't have one...and I got given one...it all fitted together.
