GTZ not starting...

Postby alastabesta » Fri Jan 07, 2005 7:04 pm

The other day trying to start the GTZ and found out the battery's completely dead (no lights at dash even). Thought oh well, haven't driven the car for almost a year, should be dead anyways, got the AA guy and jump started, left it on for 30 mins and went for another drive to charge the battery. The next day its dead again, COMPLETELY dead...

anyone know what could be causing this problem? It was completely fine last time we drove it... back in april last year or sumthing...

It could be your alternator being bung or it could be that you just need a completely new battery.

Had the same problem with my supra and it was because the battery was completely $&#$%. Charge it for like an hour and go for a drive but once it's turned off you can't turn it back on.

Try using a new battery with it and see if that helps otherwise it might be your alternator.

battery is rooted
you could try leave it on slow charge overnight on a charger but most likely will need a new 1

it is to adjust the timing. most cars use a distributer and they turn that. because of the coil packs, they use the crank angle sensor, does the same job.
