3sgte Map Sensor??? Need to help to clarfy

Hey Guys

I have a sensor sitting here and am trying to find out what ebgine and its purpose it is for

So here are the details

SENSOR ASSY, TURBO PRESSURE < This makes me assume its a map sensor. Has a vacuum line hanging off the side of it, and has an oval 3 pin Plug.

Part Numbers Are:
TOYOTA
89420-17030

Also has
100798-2012

And is cranking a whole 5v's

Well...

Mines a GenII 3sgte (AFM) and the map sensor is primarily for the onboard boost gauge. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with boost cut etc

Yep its a 3sgte one. Controls the stock boost gauge and fuel cut at 12.5psi

Chickenman's onto it, if it's off a Gen II 3sgte then it's for the boost gauge and the fuel cut, the AFM is the primary airflow device but on a Gen III engine only the map sensor is used.
