AE92 s/c , n/a 4age wiring

I need any links besides club4ag and 4agze to give me the pin outs for the ae92 gtz and ae92 auto models, using loom, ecu from auto trueno with my n/a replacement engine in gtz ae92. I Before people go saying things like " use the original loom, i can't cause the engine runs tvis and diferent plugs. don't think i've got all the sensors to get the n/a engine to run with s/c ecu.

Any help appreciated

Whats wrong with http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20tech ... 92%204A-GE%. I used nothing but that to wire my 4AG from scratch.

Yup got that wiring off club4ag but the s/c loom has a 22 pin plug and i may have to tap into it. I've got print out of both pin outs for the ecu's. I'll try it tonight and figure which wires i have to swap etc. Watch this space, any probs i'll reply to this post

Good luck. If you ever find it let me know.
I searched for days and the AE92 AFM one is the only one you cannot find,
and the pins inside the ECU are not labelled like some are.

The link ee904age gave me is the same as waht i got off club4ag, that one comes from mr2 afm 4agze which is what it says. Same pin out for ecu and i've got wiring for map 4agze. I just hope the wires are the same colour and do the same things on afm and map. Apart from the obvious one running map sensor, other running afm

I think you'll find that they are different.

There are even differences in the ecu pinout's between AE92 map and AE101 map ECU's. ( as i found out when i tried to fit AE92 Map ecu to a AE101 Map loom, neddles to say it would not work.)

Matt, i think you may be right with that but as long as the wires are same colours and i can suss them out.
EE904age: I thought the ect-s stands for auto trans aswell as tems. I say this cause i have the loom with the ect trans infront of me and those 3 wires marked y-r etc go to this plug to the auto trans comp. So any ideas if i can bypass this for auto i guess?? Neutral start switch bypasing? Matt any ideas?

My loom never had the 14 pin plug so the only pins on that socket I used are the two EFI Main ones and the Batt pin and just left all the others unused, whether this will work with the auto ECU I dont know. I presume you are using a manual box? If it doesnt work there are a couple of manual ECU's on trademe for about $20.

Did you have all your dash lights etc aswell. I may tryit but the plug for the dash the wires on this are different, one yellow plug smaller than ecu plug. I can try it the way you had yours. Can you give me the link to the ecu's and are they for ae92?

Another question: On the inside where there are the different plugs to the loom there is a 6 pin black rectangular plug, wires on the gtz loom on inside are: r/b *2. b/w *2. b/y*1. w/b*1. The red top connector has same apart from the b/y on gtz loom, red top is just plain black. I tried to make a link wire up to change the wires to the right colours. Any idea what the b/y wire is on the gtz plug?. I sorted the starter wire etc but as all isn't plugged up i won't know if the injector resistor is plugged up properly. I tried it and got it cranking but had 12v at injector plugs maybe i'll plug everything up now i have oil pressure up and try it with r/t loom plugged in as ee904age suggested

Are you using a big aor small port engine? IIRC you can use a bluetop ECU on an AE92 Bigport in which case http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 955823.htm , or http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motor ... 707352.htm will do the job. My bluetop ecu matces those AE92 pinouts so I dont think there is a difference. Cant help with the dash lights as I kept my original lomm in there and used that for the oil pressure/water temp/alternator lights and tacho.

You would have been comparing to the AW11 bigport GZE which still runs a dist. This will be about the same as the early bluetop's,,

But the AE92 onwards have a CAS and multi coil and so they are not the same as the AE82/AE86 ecu's.

Sorry, im talking NA ecu's in both cases. ie. Bluetop Ecu with bigport Redtop.

Got it running last night, just basic engine control for now until i wire in the dash tacho etc then tidy it up.I'm using the red top ecu and used 3 wires, still have to wire in the speed sensor etc. Put radiator etc in, engine revs high but may change when i get the vacuum hoses etc all hooked up.
