Rattles?

Ok, What is the common rattle found in the front of the SW20? Is that specific enough? When you go over a decent sized bump. My car got a warrant just the other day so it must not be too much of a big deal, but it is annoying.

This shouldn't have passed but some let it go, not even sure if an mr2 has them but check your sway bar linkages, wiggle up and down....That can do it

You'll need to be more specific. Where is it coming from? How loud is it? Louder from inside or outside the car?

so its a fairly 'common' one- as in you hear it in lots of mr2's?
Like X said above, more spacific about where up the front and inside/outside.
could be anything from as simple as a jack or similar not in secure and jumping over a bump.my mate had this in coincidently mr2 once

Ok,

I have taken all the tools out from the front. wheel is very secure.
Sounds like the noise is coming from the front right, and im not sure how loud it is from outside.

I thought it was common because KiwiMR2 had told me that some mr2s have a rattle in the front from worn out somethings.

It sounds like the jack, jumping up and down over a big bump in the front, but ive put the jack in the boot, and the noise is still there.


hmm
