Not toyota but still a problem...Reverse is $&#$%

Hey....

Well i know this ain't a toyota problem but ahh well...

My runabout is a mitsi lancer and the other day when i got in it and backed down the driveway it started shaking quite hard, I worked out it only does it when the clutch isn't fully in or out, but yea I'm kinda lost as to what it could be....

Tutors at tech said that one of the mounts might be rooted but i checked them all out and theyre fine, so short of dropping the gearbox is theer anything else i could check out before?

Cheers

sounds like clutch shudder,

caused by the springs in the centre of the clutch plate,

need a new clutch plate.

Yep or a pressure plate problem, but definantly a clutch issue. What model lancer is is? The boxes just about fall out of those and the clutch kits are usually pretty cheap too. Cos its a shudder problem, definantly get the flywheel machined at the same time, can get this done easy as (and free) at a place on the shore....
