engine problems with ae82

Postby dlopez86 » Thu Mar 17, 2005 9:15 pm

i have an 85 fx gt i got it off sum1 who changed the engine and ever since he changed it the car will sometimes not get enough revs when i start it and it will cut out when i rev it up, just wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows what could be the problem.. the previous owner said he got the plugs, leads, dizy cap, coil, coil modulator, computer, cam belt, and throttle sensor replaced, cause toyota motors said that was the problem but it was not.

You just explained what it means.

You will only need an el cheapo multimeter, you should be able to pick one up from supercheap or dick smith for around $15. It will also come in very handy in the future.
