Well not being to clued up on the gze all I can say is check over all sensors etc that may have been touched in the process, but you have probably already done that.

Have any fuses blown?

Are the injectors firing? (I know you said you've got fuel but that could just be at the line)

Cambelt tension correct - could be slipping?

If the cam belt were slipping, you'd definatly hear a difference.

Has putting the cams in been the only thing you've done to it since it was last running? Nothing else you've tampered with?
Motorsport is like sex. You could take it to track and have a long, enjoyable session, or you could take it to the strip and get it over with in less than 20 seconds.

As with any problem with starting, first things to check are fuel and spark. Make sure you have those and go from there.

You have spark, you have fuel. Assuming all you've done is change the cam, there's only 2 possibilities - either your cam timing is out, or your dizzy is out 180deg. Triple check it.

Ummm..... if this is in a GTZ and its MAP sensored then you'd have a crank angle sensor instead of a distributor, correct?

Are all the crank/cam angle sensors in the GTZs the same, geared onto the cam? As opposed to the likes of some distributors that have a set way they can go in and thats the only way.

If you've ever removing your CAS then mark it with the engine at TDC so you know where to put it back in. Been there and not done that before...

FYI, if timing is 180 deg out the timing light wont show that as the crank turns twice for every one turn of the cam.
