a 4 ltr pack will do it.

they hold around 3.5 litres. just fill it till it reaches the fill bung.

I've read in several places that the starlet c52 gearbos is supposed to take 2.2 litres. But when I filled mine after the rebuild etc it took 3.3 ish to bring the level up to the filler hole.

could be that some oil dosnt drain when you remove it meaning it takes 2.6lt to fill, but when its been removed an drained it needs more since the box was on a angle and more oil came out? dono I rember repco's book saying 2.6

I had my gearbox in pieces while putting in the lsd so it definitly was dry inside. Valid point thou for people just doing a fluid change. Usually I go for a bit of a rape around the block to get the fluid hot before I drain it, means you get most of it out.
