Ae101 battery and air filter

Post by crazor »

Hey all, i have a ae101 levin
My current battery is a small sized one and i need to upgrade to one with a large cca, so here are my questions.
Without out moving the air box thing is it possible to fit a larger size battery in without have issues such as the terminals coming in contact with the bonnet?
Or would replacing the factory air intake with aftermarket provide me with more room and more ability to fit in a larger battery?
Any places people would recommend for fiting pod filters and that bizzo?

Cheers in advance

You can fit a NS70 (ie light commerical truck battery) up the front in almost the factory location with a custom bracket to stop it moving.. And a 3" air intake without modifying or moving anything =)... think outside the square

Why not just run a small optima up front, and a couple of big ones in the back?

5.2kW... and you're expecting to only use a single battery?
