ive checked the fuel pressure at the pump and also at the fuel rail, and also while turning the engine over. it holds 60PSI consistently at the pump and 50psi at the rail, and continues to hold 50psi while turning the engine over/running until it does.
if i give it any throttle while its idling it just kills it straight away. i sprayed some engine start into the manifold tonight and turned it over and it kinda fired up and when i gave it some gas i could heard the revs lift a bit before it died.
soo the probably is somewhere with my injectors - it seems like sometimes they fire, sometimes they dont. ive held a stethascope onto the injectors and can't hear anything (im told you should be able to hear them clicking as they fire)
i can't see anything wrong with my wiring. what should be wired up, have power going to it and not have power going to it as far as the injectors are concerned? (this is with an ae86 loom). there must be something in the wiring that im missing...
here is what ive got wired up at the moment...

Pin #2/10, Black wire - Injector trigger signal
Presume this goes straight to the injector plugs which are then plugged into the injectors...my brother checked all this wiring and i dont have his notes in front of me at the moment so am only guessing this is right.
Pin #3/10, Black wire - Start signal to ECU, cold start injector and cold start injector timer power feed
There is a wire splicing off this pin/wire and going to the 3-deep plug pictured above. I have run a wire from the appropriate terminal on the 3-deep plug to the and spliced it into the wire running to the starter solenoid.
Pin #7/10, Black wire - Injector trigger signal
As above on pin #2.
Pin #10/10, White wire - ECU Power Feed (shared with injectors)
This goes from the 3 deep plug (pictured above) and splices off to the injectors and also the ECU. I have run a wire from the appropriate terminal on the 3-deep plug to the battery for power. Does this matter if this wire has a constant power feed, or does it need to be run through the ignition?
There is also a black wire running to the 3-deep plug which my brother has labelled "injectors" - i don't know where in the loom this wire is connected to the injectors though - its just been labelled 'injectors'. maybe someone else will know exactly what its for, otherwise i can check it out when im at work next. I have also run a wire from this terminal to the battery for power.
now after you've read the novel of my wiring, is there anything ive missed out which could stop the injectors from getting the right signal?
