try the dragwars forum on www.championdragway.co.nz they were talking about what you can strip on there, but if i remember correctly if your car is a four seater you have to race it as a four seater.

i still just got the K&N Panel filter. seems ok to me :)
however i did notice that the air ducting has been tutu'd with (in a bad way by the looks of it)
has anyone done any nice ducting mods?

still only got the stock BOV, seems like thats the best thing from the info ive been told, however I wouldnt mind a low level of venting sound.

still backfires, however i havent checked the plugs - anyone got any recommendations for optimum performance replacement plugs?

still havent found either of the limiters - still being 'nice' to the car
however she seems to like sliding round in the wet.. hehe
havent done any hellies yet, dont think im that confident yet, plus finding a nice quiet, legal, safe, free from obsticals place to do it is a problem.

Stock denso plugs from Mr Revhead or some NGK coppers.

'Performance' plugs are an expensive placebo.

Doesn't back firing blow exhausts apart?

I have seen an MR2 I was following, and it throttled off and back fired a number of times thehn was a big ball of flame and the exhaust disentergrated :D

My starlet back fires and flames all the time - only on throttle off though.

well you would hope so anyway!
mines got plenty of scrape marks and dents in it (thanks pervious owner! also thanks to it being relatively LWB & being low) and mine hasnt blown to bits *touch wood*
i dont think mine flames if that helps.
hmm might do a video of the caldie some time *adds to list of stuff to do, ooh, up to page 526!*

Stock Denso plugs are Platinum.

I just prefer changing my plugs regularly in the mr2 before a drag meet or a pull or two on the dyno, so i use cheapy ngk coppers, around $20 a set.
